Everyone, I’m Ok.

I’m working up a very long letter to write to each of you, but wanted to let you know I’m ok. I’ve been reading the comments, and there is much I have to say. I’ll do my best to have it finished tonight.

In the meantime, I wanted you to know that I’m here, I’m ok, and that I love you for your support.

  1. I don’t know how I missed your last post, because I get the notifications in my email and always check them asap. BUT, I’m so glad to hear you are okay. That’s a worrisome post. You have a lot of people that love you. Hang in there!

  2. Take care, life is already too short. Be grateful, make the most of what you have now. Life isn’t a rehearsal, it’s the real thing and we only get one shot at it. Talk to someone, anyone, we are here, we will listen…

  3. You know, you scared us all to death. So much so that I simply was unable to write something meaningful ? But this little post of yours now is sooooooo soothing for us all

  4. Thanks, Gregory. It’s really sweet of you to come let all your mommas know you’re okay — I’m sure we’ll be sleeping better tonight than for the past few. Everyone should BE so lucky as to have more than two or three people lovin’ on ’em for real. I look forward to your letter, kiddo.

    1. My goodness, it is sooo good to see sooo many of us care and are concerned for and about you sweetie.

I don’t have a living soul who gives a damn whether I am alive or dead.

You are indeed a very lucky guy…

  5. Well holy carp, between your tweets and the past few posts, you had this long time lurker scared. Like to the point of 9-1-1-OMG-WTF. I think more people out there give a shit than you could begin to imagine.

Glad to hear you are OK, considering. Things will get better, I promise. Like everyone else who commented and/or stalked your blog, I was genuinely worried.

Now go to bed. Relax. Get some shut-eye. The long letters can wait until tomorrow. Your health and state of mind are more important.

I think everyone here *understands*. You are not alone. Remember that.

    1. Thank you! And don’t be afraid to say hello! I’d love to know who you are! And you’re right…more people give a shit than I sometimes let this ridiculous head of mine remember. It gets filled with crap sometimes, crowds out the good things. Reading these comments is clearing out the clutter.

  6. although i just joined your post yesterday, i was already worried about you. i love your tutorial vids. i, too, have been down on my luck, then up, then down…it can be a vicious cycle, but that is life…to learn from our ups & downs. i wish all of us followers could live in one big community & knit all day long. πŸ˜‰ keep your chin up & never, never give up…know that you are not alone…my hubby may lose his job this Wed & i don’t have a job, so i don’t know what we will do to pay our rent & bills…it’s a devastating feeling. i will pray for the both us!

  7. Thank God! I along with probably all of us who love you were absolutely terrified for your very life! I’m grateful for the emotional support from handustry concerning you. If he’d not tweeted me about your post, I think I’d have gone crazy. We ALL LOVE YOU!!!

  8. I just caught up with your blog, my internet was down for a while. I’m glad to read you are still with us. I’m always so bad with words like this but just know you are in my thoughts and I pray things will get better for you soon. I’m not much of a religious person, but I will say a prayer for you!

  9. I couldn’t write after your post on the 18th; didn’t see it till 19th, Words wouldn’t come. But I have carried you in my heart; you are a real person to us, yes, like another son. Many of us went through dark, hopeless seeming times when we were young. I can only tell you that I am glad I stayed and didn’t give up, because life blossomed after I got free of the dark…..it’s WORTH the suffering.
Dear one, thank you for letting us know you are ok. It was a very loving thing for you to do.

  10. I’m with Dee. Couldn’t find the words to say after your last post. Just kept thinking about you and asking God to keep you safe and bring you out of the darkness. Feeling very relieved to see your post this morning.
