In My Little World

I like when I get to write that all is going well 🙂

233047077_3071413186426694_5362924294496833943_n (1)I sat down a few moments ago to write this blog post, and without any clear idea of what to say, it just dawned on me with some grand, quiet beauty: everything is going really well!

Things at my new job are nice and simple and I’ll get my first paycheck on the 13th. (I have my eyes on a bike!) In the meantime, I’ve been embroidering some jackets for extra money, knitting teddy bears (email me if you want one, I could use the work!), and working on promoting my latest book in hardcover (grab a copy in the shop! You’ll love the story!)

Things between Phillip and I couldn’t be better. Yes, we are still divorced, but the idea of having a really good friend during such a busy, fun time, is so comforting. Now that we’re living as roommates, we’re getting along just fine. As a matter of fact, we look forward to those simple moments where we get to sit on the couch, share stories about the day and watch a little television.

He’s at work right now, the house is quiet…..I thought it would be a great time to sit back and write….but, how blessed am I to scribble that my life is moving just fine, moving in the best directions, for the first time in a long while. So, I guess that’s the best that I can report right now: I feel blessed. All is well in my little world 🙂

If you appreciate my blog and would like for it to continue, please donate. Every bit helps and I wouldn’t have the courage to do this without you. Thank you!

  1. So very glad that everything is going so well for you. You are so very talented and you are so deserving of all good things to happen to you……….

    1. I’m using media mail in the states, so weight isn’t an issue. The book ways more than a pound, so I’m going to say it would cost about $20 to ship outside the US, which is the only reason I didn’t offer.

  2. I just now found your blog, via https://didikaidesigns.wordpress.com/2013/04/04/men-crochet/ and I checked out your blog and Amazon author page – Your books got put on my list to buy one day, they look very interesting! Happy to have found you. I crochet, so that’s how I ended up here.

Glad to hear that you are living together, it is not good for anyone to live completely alone. People NEED other people, in many different ways, no matter how independant they are. If humans did not need other people to survive, the world would look very foreign compared to what it is. Life is generally tougher these days compared to the last few decades in the US, so that can make things worse for everyone in different ways. So happy that there is some peace in your life.
